About Us

The South Delta Artists Guild was established as a non-profit, voluntary organization in 1975 by a small group of Tsawwassen residents interested in the visual arts. According to its constitution, the principal objective of the guild is to “promote the love of art in all forms, especially in painting, and to encourage all art interests in home and community”. After conducting its activities in various locations during its first few years of existence, the guild found a permanent home in the Kiwanis Longhouse Centre for the Visual Arts in 1983.
